Sweet Kiwi Tarts
I can't stop making things with Puff Pastry. It's such a versatile product to have on hand whether it's making a savory appetizer or a quick and simple dessert like this. It's also nice to make something quickly yet also control what you put into it, like a sprinkle of white sugar and not tons of corn syrup.
All You're Going to need for these are:
1 Sheet of Puff Pastry Dough, thawed and cut into 6 pieces.
3 Ripe Kiwis sliced thickly
2 TBSP White Sugar
1. Preheat the oven to 425. Lay out the puff pastry pieces out on a parchment lined baking sheet.
2. Stagger the slices of Kiwi evenly on the pastry and sprinkle with white sugar.
3. Bake for 15 minutes or until puffy and golden. Let cool so the melted sugar hardens a bit.
That's all there is to it and in 15 minutes you have a relatively healthy but VERY tasty dessert. The sweetness of the sugar and tartness of the kiwi is a perfect pairing.
